Does she like me and will this work out despite the age difference?

She IMs me very often and even texts me for no reason at all saying that she is bored or asking me for 'help' for a lot of things she does. She loves to grab the phone and talk to me when I'm talking to her parents(I know her parents very well, we were neighbours for a while, but at that point of time, she was only 12 and was too young). She also constantly teases me with my previous crush and asks me very often if I'm going out with anyone else(I'm not, and I've told her this each time.) Does she like me? Even if she does, there is a problem. I'm 20 and she's 14. I dont even know if I like her in a crush sort of way or if its just a strong affection. I think about her very often and feel that she is really sweet. I love spending time with her and just being with her. (with no ual thoughts whatsoever). Is this even normal? and if it is, will this work out? Is it ok to tell her that I like her? Thanks for your help in advance
