Why do people say nothing is going to happen on 2012? WTF do they know?

the reason why people think it won't happen is cos someone or something predicted that the world is going to end in the past years and it didn't. Predictions of these kind of things in the past have had a false outcome that's why. Who knows what will happen in 2012, it could be the worst year. The world is already CRAP enough as it is anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ended
