What are chances in getting into Universities ?

Schools often give preference to students who are residents of their own state. It sounds like you have a number of things in your favor, including respectable if not outstanding SAT scores- and I mention that only because you have such strengths in other areas. Definitely apply to your first choice and a school in your home state, and from there it is up to you. Also, if you have a counselor at your high school or community college or a teacher familiar with what your goals, get information from as many of these as you can. Then make your best choice.
