Skateboard from Sports Authority?!?!?

So I finnaly got all A's and B's this quarter so for a reward my parents said I could FINNALY get a skateboard. I told them not to get one from a department store so where do they go? Sport's Authority. Now, I thought this was okay as it wasn't from target or wal-mart or something but after doing a little research people are saying they are complete s**t. I only want regularly skate, not many tricks, like an ollie or maybe a kick-flip. It was 80 dollars and the brand is Positiv. Im scared this is gonna break after a week or so. I only need it untill christmas btw. So should i worry about it?
