Is the light bulb filament an insulator or a conductor (read description below)?

Filament is a conductor that has resistance. It is not a insulator. Insulator has too high resistance compare to the filament. A light bulb uses gl as insulator to support the filament. Electricity chooses the less resistance path to p through. It chooses to p the filament rather than ping the gl pole.
