Will Fred Thompson drop out after Iowa?

He's stated that he could still be competitive if he achieves at least third place in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Personally, I believe he was just trying to lower expectations with that declaration. But recent polls show him in fourth place in Iowa, behind Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and John McCain. If he comes in fourth on Thursday, will he drop out of the race?
